In November of 2018, Stayton Veterinary Hospital partnered with Marion County Dog Shelter to provide low cost veterinary services to the community. Attendants could bring their dogs for free exams, low cost vaccines, and low cost licensing through Marion County. In total, 41 dogs were vaccinated and 51 rabies licenses were renewed.
